8th Grade Final Project

8th Grade Final Project

As we move towards the end of our 8th grade year, we will embark on a Career Exploration Project.  The objective of this project is to encourage students to begin exploring interests, colleges and careers that may be a part of their future.  Students will make a 4 Year Plan for high school, take interest inventories, explore potential careers and visit colleges that may provide a pathway to degrees in their area of study.  This unit will culminate in a visit to San Diego for college visitations to UCSD and San Diego State University Thursday, May 23rd.  The assignments that are completed will then be presented to parents/guardians in an end of the year student led conference.
