Physical Education credit is given through independent P.E. activities and a small Edgenuity course. Students must log 30 minutes of PE activities per day. These logs are turned in on Google Classroom every 2nd Friday by 2pm. Students record activities on these logs that reflect the California Physical Education Standards. Please visit the CDE website below and see standards for your child. Ideas for acceptable activities are...swimming, walking, playing sports, skateboarding, diet and menu planning, or riding bikes.
All 7th graders participate in the state physical fitness testing every spring. Students must come to campus to complete these activities. The health and well-being of a child directly effects their academic performance. Families are encouraged to support their student in activities that promote the following areas: cardiovascular health, strength training, flexibility, group sports, health and nutrition. |
