Heroes come in many different forms.  All of these heroes, however, have similar heroic qualities. Every year CNN pays tribute to some of the most heroic people in the world through their CNN Hero Awards.  After watching the videos of these fabulous people, vote on the CNN website for your favorite hero.  Then on this blog, post what heroic qualities you feel this person exhibits.  Tell why you chose this person over all others.

I believe that Luma Mufleh should have won because she has decided to preform a very dangerous act just to help some children who didn't deserve to be pulled into and experience the terrorist attacks of Islam. Which shows a very important trait that any hero should have, selflessness.

I voted for Luma Mufleh because she helps kids who have ran away from home like out of state. She also teaches them soccer as something fun to do. Luma Mufleh takes in kids as her own not only for soccer and to be their coach but she takes them in as her family.

I believe that Sherri Franklin should win. The reason that i believe that she should win is because a dog is like family. You love them and even sometimes when they are not your dog you feel bad to see them on the street, so it is nice to know that there is some one that takes care of some dogs from the streets that have no home and they at least live in a shelter but she does not have them in a cage all day she lets them free . A dog is what cheers us up when feeling down or mad they are there when we need them . Every day some dog in a shelter gets sad that they have no owner to cheer up and if they dont get to get adopted most of the time they put them to sleep, but she made a shelter and plays with them, she gives them walks and showers, she does not leave them in a cage all day. She takes care of them till they get adopted . That is why i think she should win .

I believe that Jeison Aristizábal is a hero in my opinion because helped people with a disability and give them an education. And he gives wheelchairs to children who need it the most. Jeison Aristizábal is also a disability man as well that is why he is so into this program.

I voted for Georgie Smith because she works to help foster kids get homes once they get out of the system.
